About Lorri Craig
Hi. My name is Lorri Craig. I am a Psychologist living and practicing in Brisbane, Australia.
I have worked therapeutically for many many years with literally thousands of individual adults, teenagers and children, as well as parents, families and couples. I am particularly interested in short-term interventions that have a significant positive impact on people’s psychological well-being and relationships. Basically, I want everyone to feel happier, calmer and clearer, and get along better and have more fun, without taking years of therapy and cash to get there.
I am based in a wonderful group private psychology practice called 4LIFE PSYCHOLOGY CENTRE. I work with a bunch of warm and talented people, so it’s a very nice place to be. Go to the practice site at www.positivepsychology.com.au if you want to find out more.
I also connect with international clients through phone and and Skype. Email me at Lorri@LorriCraig.com if you want to know more about this.
I have recently ventured into the amazing and overwhelming world of Internet Psychology. I’m very excited about being alive at this time in history, at the raw beginnings of this stuff. I am excited about the new communication possibilities that the Internet and other technologies bring into our lives: the fact that I can easily and quickly access practically any information and, in theory, communicate with millions of people around the globe.
My dream is to use the internet to share my psychology skills and expertise with large numbers of people, in a way that is cheaper and more convenient for busy people with odd hours.
At the moment I’m learning loads about the technology, and although it’s very challenging, and I have a long way to go, when I look back I am pleased to see how far I’ve come. So far I have developed a fully downloadable multimedia parent training package and a free ebook for parents. You can see the links to those on the side of the page.
I hope you will join me in this incredible experiential journey. I’m looking forward to hearing and learning from you along the way.
Warm cyber-hugs,
Lorri Craig, Psychologist

Interesting viewing this particular online website.
Hi Lorri! You and Richard Bach were right … it’s easy, you just let go! Thanks again so much for all your help this year, you have helped me more than you can possibly know. All the best, Karen
Well, what a rewarding experience its been dropping by a blog like this. And so I thought I would make a post. This blog was actually recommended to me by a work collegue so I thought I’d get myself over here & ‘sus it out’ and yes, my friend wasn’t wrong… great work. There are so many sites published which are just plain boring & it is heartwarming to see someone shooting from the hip, don’t stop doin’ it.
Hi Victoria
Thanks for your offer. I will look into it.
Lorri
Hello Lorri,
Mary Clark and I do AIT trainings in San Diego. Would you have a need for us to come to Bisbane and sponsor us to do a basics training for therapists?
Warmly,
Victoria Danzig, LCSW
I have to admit it’s rather refreshing to check out a somewhat ‘different’ blog like yours, excellent effort. I look forward to coming back fairly soon and I look forward to reading your next post when I do.
Hi Kate
]. We are in Brisbane, but still have phone problems [this time not due to the floods], so, if it’s alright, I will call you next week. I have just started working in an established psychology practice in Brisbane, and will be in their Mt Gravatt clinic at least one day a week, starting the week after next I think, if that is any good to you. The practice is called 4Life Psychology Centre. If you wanted to make an appointment, please call the receptionist on 07 3358 4666. You might want to approach your GP first to ask if you would be elligible for a referral for your son. If so you would be able to get part of the sessions reimbursed by medicare. Talk to you soon.
Sorry for the late reply. We had our power and communications affected by the floods [but we were high and dry, thank goodness
