About Lorri Craig

Hi. My name is Lorri Craig. I am an Australian trained and registered Psychologist, now living and practicing in Brighton and Hove, in the UK.

I have worked therapeutically for many many years with literally thousands of individual adults, teenagers and children, as well as parents, families and couples. I have successfully worked with people across all age groups, from 2years to 82years, presenting with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, eating problems, behaviour problems, and trauma. I have worked in a range of clinical settings, including various Universities and Colleges, The Family Court of Australia, Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services, and Private Psychology Practices.

I am particularly interested in short-term interventions that have a significant positive impact on people’s psychological well-being and relationships. Basically, I want everyone to feel happier, calmer and clearer, and get along better and have more fun, without taking years of therapy and cash to get there.

I have just returned to the UK after a couple of years back in Australia, so am enjoying connecting with old and new clients in my private practice in Brighton.

Please drop me an email at Lorri@LorriCraig.com or telephone me on [UK]07456660227 if you would like to make an appointment, or discuss whether I might be able to help.

I can work with international clients via telephone and Skype. Please email me at Lorri@LorriCraig.com if you want to know more about this.

As well as continuing to work individually with clients and families, my dream is to use the internet to share my psychology skills and expertise with large numbers of people, in a way that is more affordable and more convenient for busy people with odd hours. With this in mind, I have developed a fully downloadable multimedia parent training package, and a free e-book for parents. You can see the links to those on the side of the page.

Feel free to email me directly, or post questions or comments directly into the comments boxes on  this site if you get the urge. I’m really looking forward to hearing from you.

Warm cyber-thoughts,

Lorri Craig

  1. Hi Lorri
Would really like to discuss the possibility of getting your help and live in NZ. Many thanks in advance. Julie

  2. Hi Lorri! You and Richard Bach were right … it’s easy, you just let go! Thanks again so much for all your help this year, you have helped me more than you can possibly know. All the best, Karen

  3. Well, what a rewarding experience its been dropping by a blog like this. And so I thought I would make a post. This blog was actually recommended to me by a work collegue so I thought I’d get myself over here & ‘sus it out’ and yes, my friend wasn’t wrong… great work. There are so many sites published which are just plain boring & it is heartwarming to see someone shooting from the hip, don’t stop doin’ it.

  4. Hello Lorri,
Mary Clark and I do AIT trainings in San Diego. Would you have a need for us to come to Bisbane and sponsor us to do a basics training for therapists?
    Victoria Danzig, LCSW

  5. I have to admit it’s rather refreshing to check out a somewhat ‘different’ blog like yours, excellent effort. I look forward to coming back fairly soon and I look forward to reading your next post when I do.

  6. Hi Kate
Sorry for the late reply. We had our power and communications affected by the floods [but we were high and dry, thank goodness :-)]. We are in Brisbane, but still have phone problems [this time not due to the floods], so, if it’s alright, I will call you next week. I have just started working in an established psychology practice in Brisbane, and will be in their Mt Gravatt clinic at least one day a week, starting the week after next I think, if that is any good to you. The practice is called 4Life Psychology Centre. If you wanted to make an appointment, please call the receptionist on 07 3358 4666. You might want to approach your GP first to ask if you would be elligible for a referral for your son. If so you would be able to get part of the sessions reimbursed by medicare. Talk to you soon.
